Terms and Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
§1 Scope & Provider
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the contractual relationship between Centric
Software International Ltd. ("Provider", "we") and the users ("user", "you") of
DoneNow, available at donenow.app and as an iOS app.
By using the service you accept these Terms. Where the app is obtained through a distribution platform (e.g. the Apple App Store), that platform's terms apply in addition.
Any deviating, conflicting or supplementary terms of the user do not become part of the contract unless the Provider expressly agrees to them in writing.
§2 Description of Service
DoneNow is a tool for managing recurring and one-off tasks for several companies and their workers. A user creates companies, workers, categories and tasks, assigns workers roles and companies, and tracks progress on a dashboard per company.
DoneNow is currently in its first release stage ("Phase 1"): this covers the admin/manager view — companies, workers, categories, tasks, roles and a dashboard. A second stage with a dedicated worker area (sign-in, checking off assigned tasks, photo confirmation) is planned but not yet part of the service.
The Provider continues to develop the service. There is no entitlement to the permanent availability of individual features, feature sets or design elements; §9 remains unaffected.
§3 Account & Formation of Contract
Using DoneNow requires an account. An account is created by providing an email address and a password (at least 8 characters). After registration the user receives a confirmation email; the contract is formed once the link contained in it is confirmed.
The account applies to DoneNow only. Other applications of the Provider maintain separate accounts with their own credentials, even if the same email address is used. Signing in to DoneNow does not entitle access to any other service of the Provider and vice versa.
The user is obliged to provide truthful information when registering and to keep their credentials confidential. DoneNow is aimed at businesses, self-employed individuals and other commercial users who manage tasks for their company/companies and their workers; registration requires the user to be at least 18 years old.
§4 Use & Cost
Use of DoneNow is free of charge in the current first release stage. The Provider reserves the right to introduce additional, paid tiers in the future; companies, workers, categories and tasks already created remain unaffected, and the introduction of any paid tier will be announced in advance with reasonable notice. This does not create an obligation for the user to accept a paid offer.
§5 User Obligations
The user undertakes to
- use the service only within the bounds of applicable law and not enter names or content that are unlawful, infringe third-party rights or are offensive,
- keep their credentials confidential and not grant third parties access to their account,
- before entering data about workers (§6), ensure that the affected worker has been informed where legally required,
- refrain from any measures that could impair the operation of the service or its underlying server infrastructure.
In case of violations of these obligations, the Provider may restrict access or suspend the account after prior warning.
§6 Third-Party Data (Worker Data)
When adding a worker, the user enters personal data of a third person (at least name and email address). The user themselves is responsible under data protection law for this data — they decide whose data they enter and for what purpose. The Provider processes this data on the user's behalf, exclusively to provide the service (assigning workers to companies, categories and tasks).
The user warrants that they are entitled to enter the worker's data and that they themselves fulfil the data-protection requirements applicable to this (in particular towards the affected worker). Upon request, the Provider makes available the information customary for a data-processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR.
§7 Data, Content & Storage
The user remains the owner of the content they create (companies, workers, categories, tasks). In the first release stage, the data held on the server is authoritative: companies, workers, categories and tasks are loaded from the server on every request; DoneNow deliberately does not keep a persistent offline copy on the device.
Details on the processing of personal data are set out in the Privacy Policy.
§8 Usage Rights & Intellectual Property
All rights to the service itself, in particular software, design, logos and the DoneNow brand, belong to the Provider or its licensors. The user is granted a simple, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to use the service within the scope of these Terms for their own business purposes.
Reverse engineering, removing rights notices and distributing modified versions are prohibited, unless permitted by law.
§9 Availability & Changes
The Provider strives to ensure high availability of the service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance work, technical faults or events beyond the Provider's control can lead to temporary restrictions. No service-level agreement exists.
The Provider reserves the right to adapt, extend or discontinue individual features as part of ongoing development, provided this is reasonable taking into account the legitimate interests of the user.
§10 Liability
The Provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, under product liability law, for injury to life, body or health, and within the scope of any warranties given.
In case of slightly negligent breach of a material contractual obligation (cardinal obligation), the fulfilment of which enables the proper performance of the contract in the first place and on whose observance the user may regularly rely, liability is limited in amount to the foreseeable, typical damage at the time the contract was concluded. Otherwise, liability for slightly negligent breaches of duty is excluded.
For loss of data, the Provider is liable only to the extent that would have occurred even with proper and regular data backup by the user. The Provider assumes no responsibility for third-party data entered by a user (§6) — that responsibility lies with the user.
§11 Suspension & Account Deletion
The user may irrevocably delete their account in the app at any time. This removes all companies, workers, categories, tasks and profile data from the server and deactivates the account. This action cannot be undone.
Deletion applies exclusively to the DoneNow account. The user's accounts with other applications of the Provider remain unaffected and must be deleted separately there.
The Provider is entitled to suspend or terminate an account in case of a serious or repeated breach of these Terms after prior warning with a reasonable deadline.
§12 Changes to these Terms
The Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms with effect for the future, insofar as this is required for legal reasons, due to changes to the service's features, or to adapt to changed technical or economic circumstances, and does not unreasonably disadvantage the user. Users will be informed of material changes in the app or by email with reasonable notice.
If the user does not object to the amended Terms within six weeks of receiving the notice of change, or continues to use the service after this period, the amended Terms are deemed accepted.
§13 Final Provisions
English law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If the user is a consumer, this applies only to the extent that it does not restrict the protection of mandatory consumer-protection provisions of their habitual residence.
If the user is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with this contract is, to the extent legally permissible, the Provider's registered seat in London, England.
Should any provision of these Terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
